I teach piano/music lessons in English and in Dutch.

A little bit about me: I am Lennard Vaarten a pianist, composer and music producer, with a master degree in Music & Technology from HKU. I compose and produce music for my own projects susurrus and lennard&lennard. I also have experience composing and producing music for media applications and for other artists (examples can be found on the rest of this website).

My lessons run the whole gamut: sheet music, rhythmic exercises, ear training, chords and scales, you name it. Ultimately, though, the lessons are tailored to what fascinates you in music. If sheet music just doesn’t work for you, we can start by using chord diagrams to jam along to some pop songs. And if writing music is what you’re really interested in, we’ll dive into how to come up with chord progressions and melodies that work.

Lessons are open to beginner and intermediate musicians of all ages at €30 per 45 minutes. Lessons at home are possible if you live in Utrecht. If not, I also teach online lessons.
